Certificate IV in Disability Support
Nationally Recognised Vocational Education and Training (VET)Disability support workers provide personal, physical and emotional support to people with a disability who require assistance with daily living. This qualification will equip you with the skills to support clients to meet their goals, and to empower them to participate in the community. There is strong growth projected for jobs in disability and aged care.

Entry requirements
Domestic Students
- There are no mandated entry requirements.
To study this qualification, students will need to have completed one of the following qualifications or sets of qualifications:
- CHC33021 Certificate III in Individual Support (Disability)
- CHC33015 Certificate III in Individual Support (Disability)
- CHC33015 Certificate III in Individual Support (Ageing, Home and Community) PLUS CHCSS00098 Individual Support - Disability Skill Set
- CHC30408 Certificate III in Disability PLUS the CHCSS00125 Entry to Certificate IV in Disability Support Skill Set
Course fees
- VIC Subsidised Training This training may be subsidised by the VIC Government for eligible individuals. Places are limited.

VICSEG New Futures is a not for profit, community organisation incorporating the Victorian Cooperative on Children's Services for Ethnic Groups (VICSEG Programs for Families, Children & Young People) and New Futures Training. Together VICSEG Programs for Families, Children & Young People and New Futures Training provide support and training to newly arrived and recently settled migrant communities, refugees and asylum seekers.
