Certificate IV in Disability Support
Nationally Recognised Vocational Education and Training (VET)You will learn the necessary skills and knowledge to care for the needs of people with a disability and to enhance their ability to achieve greater levels of independence, self-reliance and community participation. You will graduate with the ability to work with or without supervision and have the expertise to supervise or coordinate other workers.

This course is also a stepping stone to further qualifications in disability services, knowledge and practical workplace experience to care for and support people with a disability in a variety of settings.
Delivery mode
Enable College offers this course through the following delivery modes:
On campus
Work with instructors and classmates in a supportive and collaborative environment.
Work Placement
Complete mandatory hands-on training in a workplace setting.

Entry requirements
Domestic Students
- There are no mandated entry requirements.
Student MUST have completed and provide evidence of completion of the following qualifications prior to enrolling into this qualification
- Completion of: CHC33021 Certificate III in Individual Support (Disability) OR
- Completion of: CHC33015 Certificate III in Individual Support (Disability) OR
- Completion of: CHC30408 Certificate III in Disability PLUS The CHCSS00125 Entry to Certificate IV in Disability Support Skill Set
The following entry requirements need to be met prior to course commencement:
- Must be employed within the Disability sector
- Must hold a current Driver’s licence
- Ability to gain clean Police and DHS clearances
