Certificate IV in Disability
Nationally Recognised Vocational Education and Training (VET)This qualification equips individuals with the necessary skills and knowledge to provide person-centered support to people with disabilities. This qualification prepares individuals to work effectively in a range of disability support settings, including residential facilities, community care, and individuals' homes.
The course covers a variety of topics, including supporting independence and well-being, facilitating community participation and social inclusion, providing personal care and support, and working within a legal and ethical framework.
Graduates of this certificate are trained to promote the rights and empowerment of people with disabilities and to contribute positively to their quality of life.
