Gain the skills you need to really make a difference in people's lives. In this course you'll learn how to support people with disabilities to achieve greater levels of independence.
A Certificate IV in Disability will prepare you to work as a disability support worker in a client's home or within a community organisation. Learn how to help people with an intellectual or physical disability, by empowering them to become more independent and self-reliant, allowing them to participate in community activities.
People working at this level may be a supervisor or manage the performance of other team members, you can also report to service managers and may liaise with health professionals and other service agencies.
