Certificate IV in Disability Support

Nationally Recognised Vocational Education and Training (VET)

This qualification prepares you for work in residential group homes, day respite centres, other community settings and in clients’ homes. During this course you will engage with local services during a work placement, where you will gain hands-on skills and knowledge.

Entry requirements

Domestic Students

  • There are no mandated entry requirements.

Completion of either the following:

  • CHC33021 Certificate III in Individual Support (Disability)
  • CHC33015 Certificate III in Individual Support (Disability)
  • CHC30408 Certificate III in Disability PLUS the CHCSS00125 Entry to Certificate IV in Disability Support Skill Set.

To enrol you must be willing to obtain a:

  • Working with Children’s Check
  • National Police Check
  • NDIS Worker Screening Check.
  • Australian Citizen

You will also need to provide evidence of your vaccination history, including COVID-19.
