Nationally Recognised Vocational Education and Training (VET)This qualification reflects the role of workers in a range of community settings and clients’ homes, who provide training and support in a manner that empowers people with disabilities to achieve greater levels of independence, self-reliance, community participation and wellbeing. Workers promote a person-centred approach, work without direct supervision and may be required to supervise and/or coordinate a small team. A Victorian police check is required within this industry.

On campus
Work with instructors and classmates in a supportive and collaborative environment.
Work Placement
Complete mandatory hands-on training in a workplace setting.

- There are no mandated entry requirements.
Students are required to obtain a current clear Victorian Police Check and Working with Children Check to complete this course.

About Bellarine Training and Community Hub
We were established in 2006 and we provide nationally recognised training throughout Geelong, the Bellarine and the Surfcoast, from Certificate III to Diploma level courses. We are a high quality training organisation, with a high employment rate on completion of courses. We offer placement coordination, small class sizes and expert trainers. Training is provided with Victorian Government funding. Those seeking funded places must meet the funding criteria to be eligible.
