Entry requirements

Domestic Students

  • There are no mandated entry requirements.
  • Those undertaking the Certificate IV in Automotive Mechanical Diagnosis must have completed an automotive mechanical Certificate III qualification or be able to demonstrate equivalent competency.
  • Be at least 18 years of age.
  • Have completed at least Year 10 or equivalent.
  • Participate in a course entry interview to determine suitability for the course and student needs.
  • Domestic students must have sufficient language, literacy and numeracy skills as tested through a language, literacy and numeracy assessment. Students will need to achieve ACSF level3 for reading, writing, numeracy and oral communication to enter the course.
