Certificate IV in Ageing Support
Nationally Recognised Vocational Education and Training (VET)Yorke Institute’s Program CHC43015 Certificate IV in Ageing Support is designed for those with a burning passion to provide personal, leisure and emotional support to people whose capacity for independent living is at risk. In particular the aged and those with disabilities.
By undertaking this nationally recognised qualification, learners will be provided with the knowledge and confidence required to care for members of the community.
On completion of this qualification, you will have a variety of employment opportunities, in particular working within the health and community industry at hospitals, nursing homes, aged care facilities and community centres.

Yorke takes pride in its community involvement. In 2016 it started working with various not for profit organisation to deliver training and education. One of the foundations we worked with is the National Zakat Foundation which is a not for profit organisation that provides a lifeline for local and vulnerable members of the community which includes widows, orphans, refugees, the homeless and victims of abuse and persecution. Yorke has extended its support through the delivery of its courses to the National Zakat Foundation. In 2016, Yorke heavily subsidized the course fee of a refugee from Nigeria studying the Dental Technology course. Yorke continues to maintain its active role with the Aboriginal and Torres Straits Island community through the Victorian Aboriginal Education Association Incorporated
Yorke delivers accredited and nationally recognized qualifications and is committed to meeting ongoing compliance requirements. We conduct internal audits as part of a planned, systematic and documented process to assess our compliance with the Standards for Registered Training Organizations 2015 and the National Code of Practice for Providers of Education and Training to Overseas Students 2018. We audit on the quality of our training, assessment, student services and the management systems we use to support the continuous improvement of our operations and outcomes.
