Certificate IV in Ageing Support
Nationally Recognised Vocational Education and Training (VET)This qualification reflects the role of support workers who complete specialised tasks and functions in aged services; either in residential, home or community based environments. Workers will take responsibility for their own outputs within defined organisation guidelines and maintain quality service delivery through the development, facilitation and review of individualised service planning and delivery.

- There are no mandated entry requirements.
A current Police Check and Working with Children Check is required prior to commencement of work placement which is payable by student. Student may (depending on work placement host) be required to complete immunity screening prior to being accepted to a work placement host. Any boosters or vaccinations required by the student will be at their own cost.

About Riverina Community College
Riverina Community College (RCC) is a Registered Training Organisation. The College delivers a variety of nationally recognised training including skill sets and full qualifications from Certificate II to Diploma level.
Riverina Community College operates a variety of programs designed to enhance the lives of the disadvantaged and minority groups within the greater Riverina region. Most are funded through various commonwealth or state government departments and centre around arts for those with a disability, respite for carers, inclusive community education, visiting the elderly in their home or aged care facility and youth at risk.
