Certificate IV in Ageing Support
Nationally Recognised Vocational Education and Training (VET)The Certificate IV in Ageing Support reflects the role of support workers who complete specialised tasks and functions in aged services, either in residential, home or community-based environments. Workers will take responsibility for their own outputs within defined organisation guidelines and maintain quality service delivery through the development, facilitation and review of individualised service planning and delivery.
Workers may be required to demonstrate leadership and have limited responsibility for the organisation and the quantity and quality of outputs of others within limited parameters.

Entry requirements
Domestic Students
- There are no mandated entry requirements.
Are over the age of 18
A valid IELTS score of 6.0 (with no score below 5.5 in any band), or equivalent
Have completed Year 12 or an equivalent secondary schooling level of a Higher School Certificate or can demonstrate suitable work or life experience
A valid passport
have successfully completed their Year 12 or equivalent in the English Language
Certified copies of Academic Transcripts and Certificates
Additional Work Placement requirements:
- Possess a Police check
- Updated Vaccination/immunisation Records (influenza and COVID-19 Vaccines)
- Working with Children Check
