Certificate IV in Ageing Support
Nationally Recognised Vocational Education and Training (VET)Begin with this qualification to pave your way into the aged care sector. Designed specifically to meet the needs of the aged care industry, this course will equip you with the concepts and skills to provide personalised assistance to individuals who require support as they age, apply safe work practices for their health and safety, and support their independence and well-being. This course will build on your current knowledge of direct service work and client support, enabling you to make a positive uplift in their lives.
Successful completion of the course will qualify you to work in varied fields beyond an aged care facility such as clinics, home care facilities, and residential establishments.

- There are no mandated entry requirements.
Students are required to undertake the Language, Literacy and Numeracy assessment and Pre -Training Review.
National Police Check required before undertaking work placement.
