Certificate III in Individual Support
Nationally Recognised Vocational Education and Training (VET)This nationally recognised qualification is suitable for Aged Care AINs, Disability Support Workers, Community Carers, in a residential and/or community care setting.
This qualification will empower personal carers with the necessary skills and knowledge to provision care to the elderly and people living with disability.
Workers may be in a residential aged care home, disability group homes, day programs, community care and private homes.
On completion of the course students will be job ready and able to provide personalised, physical and emotional support and companionship to their participants.

Entry requirements
Domestic Students
- There are no mandated entry requirements.
- LLN Robot levels – entry at ACSF Level 3 (core skills, reading, writing, listening, speaking, numeracy, digital literacy).
- Be of at least 16 years of age
- Have completed Year 12 or equivalent (desirable).
- Be an existing worker in Aged Care, Disability, Community Care and Mental Health Support Services, Health and other care services OR
- Be available to commence Work Placement early into the course.
- Must not have a criminal conviction that will appear on the National Police Check
- An Influenza shot/ Immunisation certificate or Vaccination card may be requested
- Must have basic computing skills and access to a standard computer or laptop
- Driver Licence or Photo ID
- Green Medicare card or evidence of residency
- Unique Student Identifier
