Certificate III in Individual Support (Disability)
Nationally Recognised Vocational Education and Training (VET)Disability services provide care and support to people with physical or intellectual disabilities, as well as their family and carers. Services are designed to improve the health, wellbeing and independence of people with a disability as well as help them develop life skills and participate in social activities.
It can be a very rewarding career with multiple pathways available in the much broader spectrum of community services.
This course is designed for workers in the community and / or residential setting who provide individualised support to people who need support due to ageing, disability and other reasons.
You'll get to learn all aspects of a carer's role including following an individualised plan to undertake daily personal care tasks to support people with a disability.
