Certificate III in Individual Support (Disability)
Nationally Recognised Vocational Education and Training (VET)This qualification is designed for individuals working in community, home, or residential care settings. They operate within a multi-disciplinary team, under supervision and delegation.
Their primary role is to deliver personalised support to individuals who may need assistance due to factors such as aging, disability, or other reasons.Some tasks may include: Personal Care, Mobility Support, Meal Preparation, Household Tasks, Emotional Support, Transportation, Implementing Care Plans, Behavioural Support, Advocacy and Community Engagement.

Entry requirements
Domestic Students
- There are no mandated entry requirements.
- Students must obtain a volunteer Nationally Coordinated Criminal History Check (NCCHC) (commonly known as a police check) at their own expense. Please note, if there is a Disclosable Court Outcome on the record, we are unable to assist with placement, as industry partners require a clear record. In Victoria, this includes any offences by adults up to 10 years ago, and this requirement is non-negotiable.
- Students must obtain a volunteer Working with Children Check at their own cost.
- Students are required to obtain an NDIS Worker Screening Check at their own expense.
