Nationally Recognised Vocational Education and Training (VET)This qualification is for working in the automotive service and repairs industry specialising in heavy commercial vehicles. The qualification is suitable for new employees or existing employees who are looking for skills recognition or development.
On completion of this course you will be able to perform mechanical services and repairs to commercial heavy vehicles including testing and diagnosis of mechanical parts such as engines, brakes, transmission and suspension systems.
You'll be able to apply your skills to a range of heavy vehicles from heavy rigid to heavy combination trucks capable of working as a heavy commercial vehicle technician or as a heavy vehicle mechanic.
