Nationally Recognised Vocational Education and Training (VET)This credential reflects the role of individuals who perform a broad range of tasks on a variety of heavy commercial vehicles in the automotive service and repair sector. This qualification is for candidates working in the automotive service and repair industry as commercial vehicle mechanics on a range of heavy commercial vehicles, including trucks and buses. Individuals will learn about workplace safety and equipment and gain hands on experience servicing everything from batteries, transmissions, engine and drive assemblies to hydraulic, steering and braking systems.
