Certificate III in Heavy Commercial Vehicle Mechanical Technology
Nationally Recognised Vocational Education and Training (VET)This qualification is an Australian Apprenticeship qualification and is for those who work in, or are looking for, a career in the heavy commercial vehicle repair industry. You will develop your knowledge and skills in servicing, mechanical repairs, diagnostic techniques and electronic management systems. You will be given the opportunity to learn on some of the most up to date vehicles on the market, using the latest tools, equipment and computerised diagnostic machines.
In the workplace you will apply your knowledge and practical skills to safely repair and service engines, transmissions, drive-lines, steering and suspension systems, pneumatic and hydraulic systems, air and hydraulic braking systems as well as fuel injection and electrical circuits and systems to name a few.
