Certificate III in Health Services Assistance
Nationally Recognised Vocational Education and Training (VET)This is the nationally recognised qualification that provides the knowledge and skills to provide assistance to health professional staff for the care of clients. This qualification reflects the role of a variety of workers who use a range of factual, technical and procedural knowledge to provide assistance to health professional staff for the care of clients. Health services assistance involves the worker in direct client contact under supervision.

Entry requirements
Domestic Students
- There are no mandated entry requirements.
- You must undertake a Federal Police Check (AFP) or NSW Police check (it must be no less than12 months old).
- The students must be physically be able to do moderate amount of lifting using the appropriate equipment.
- The students should not have any mobility, hearing, and vision problems to carry out duties efficiently in the hospital or community care settings whilst at placement.

- NSW Subsidised Training This training may be subsidised by the NSW Government for eligible individuals. Places are limited.
