Certificate III in Community Services
Nationally Recognised Vocational Education and Training (VET)This qualification reflects the role of entry-level community services workers who support individuals through the provision of person-centred services. Work may include day-to-day support of individuals in community settings or support the implementation of specific community-based programs. At this level, work takes place under the direction of others, and supervision may be direct or indirect. Work may take place in a range of community services organisations.

Entry requirements
Domestic Students
- There are no mandated entry requirements.
- Queensland resident
- Aged 15 years or over who is no longer at school (with the exception of VET in Schools students)
- Australian or New Zealand citizen or Australian permanent resident (including humanitarian entrants), or a temporary resident with the necessary visa and work permits on the pathway to permanent residency.
- Prospective students must not have or be enrolled in a certificate III or higher-level qualification, not including qualifications completed at school and foundations skills training.
- Currently working in the community services sector
- Students must undergo a working police check and have a valid blue card before undertaking work placement.
