Certificate III in Community Dance, Theatre and Events
Nationally Recognised Vocational Education and Training (VET)Get an introduction to the art and craft of acting and performance with this entry-level course. This qualification will prepare you to work in a variety of community-based performance and production roles.
This course will provide you with a sound base from which to develop your performance interests or pursue further training in the arts. You will receive energetic, detailed and focused training in acting, body, and voice skills. You'll also have the opportunity to explore the business of starting an acting and performance career in Australia.
Successful completion of this course will qualify you to work as a performer, assistant project officer, or production assistant in community theatre. You'll also have the foundation skills required to continue with further studies in acting and performance.
