Nationally Recognised Vocational Education and Training (VET)The Certificate III in Cabinet Making and Timber Technology is a comprehensive program designed to equip students with the essential skills and knowledge required to excel in the cabinet making and woodworking industry. This course provides a solid foundation for individuals aspiring to become skilled cabinet makers or pursue a range of related careers within the building and construction sector.
Throughout the course, students will learn the art and science of working with timber and various woodworking materials. They will gain hands-on experience in using a wide array of hand tools and power tools safely and proficiently. Emphasis will be placed on mastering precision cutting, shaping, and joinery techniques to produce high-quality cabinets, furniture, and woodwork.

Entry requirements
Domestic Students
- There are no mandated entry requirements.
18 years of age or above at the time of enrolment;
Must have completed year 12 with a pass of 60% or above in best four related subjects or equivalent to Australian qualifications in their country or other equivalent qualification/s to Diploma level qualifications from overseas;
IELTS overall 5.5 with not less than 5.0 in each module / TOEFL 46 / PTE ACADEMIC 43 / CAE 47 / OET PASS / TOEFL PBT 527 or equivalent or Cert IV level Australian qualification;
Must have the ability to carry out workshop training involving physical activity, including lifting.
Prior to commencement of practical components of the course, the student must complete the general induction training program (white card).
