Certificate III in Cabinet Making and Timber Technology
Nationally Recognised Vocational Education and Training (VET)Studying this qualification, students will come away with tradesperson-level skills in the manufacture and installation of products, including furniture and cabinetry, made from timber and other materials.
Participants will learn core skills in tool use, measuring, drawing (including computer-aided design), interpreting work documentation, preparing cutting lists, communication, teamwork, and safe and environmentally sustainable work practices.

Entry requirements
Domestic Students
- There are no mandated entry requirements.
- Complete a Basic Key Skills Builder (BKSB)an online test to ensure the required literacy & numeracy levels for the course are met.
- Undertake a Pre-training review interview to ensure the course suits their needs and aspirations, and that they are likely to complete the course successfully.
- Prospective students are required to complete the general induction training program specified by the National Code of Practice for Induction Training for Construction Work (ASCC 2007) before entering a construction work site. Achievement of unit CPCWHS1001 covers this requirement.
- Prospective Traineeship or Apprenticeship students are required to apply through an Apprenticeship Network Provider with their employer to organise their apprenticeship contract before applying for this course.
