This course will enable you to work alongside allied health workers in instigating treatment plans and therapeutic solutions in a range of areas including in aged and disability support, child welfare, youth and family services, housing or multicultural services.
The course will teach you how to assist with allied health programming, effectively communicate with both professionals and patients, interpret basic medical terminology and comply with infection prevention and control policies. Following completion of this course you could find work supporting physios, podiatrists or speech pathologists in a range of settings like hospitals, medical practices, mental health clinics, schools, aged care facilities or in a community health organisation.
