Certificate II in Security Operations
Nationally Recognised Vocational Education and Training (VET)Certificate II in Security Operations is your first step into the security industry.
This qualification is listed as a prerequisite for obtaining a Security license by the Licensing and Regulation Division (LRD) of Victoria Police, who are the regulators of security licenses in Victoria. Lite Security fully meets the LRD training requirements to deliver the course for sub-activities of both unarmed guard and crowd controller. We ensure the quality of our training and assessment in compliance with the standards set by the Australian Skills Quality Authority (ASQA).
The content of the course includes legislation relevant to the industry, communication skills, customer service, teamwork, basic first aid, managing intoxicated persons, reporting security incidents, occupational health and safety, basic self-defense and emergency procedures.
