Certificate II in Security Operations
Nationally Recognised Vocational Education and Training (VET)If you always dreamed of working in the Security industry, then our Certificate II in Security Operations course provides the perfect starting point, enabling you to obtain a security guard licence to commence working as a Crowd Controller or Security Officer (Unarmed).
Employment opportunities within the Security industry are quite varied and offer wide-ranging opportunities. From working at sporting events through to more traditional security officer roles, a career in security is certainly an exciting and rewarding one.
Successful students are required to apply to Licensing Regulation Division (LRD) for a licence upon completion of the course. They are also required to do a fingerprint and police check before applying for a licence. LRD will only issue a licence once all documentation has been received and upon completing due diligence.
If you wish to progress your security career through additional study, this course will lead to higher studies in Certificate III in Security Operations. Credit transfers/Skills Recognition may be available.
