Nationally Recognised Vocational Education and Training (VET)This qualification will provide students with the skills, knowledge and competencies required to safely perform security operations in a range of different contexts. This course is designed to meet requirements for students seeking to apply for an unarmed security officer’s license in Queensland.
The CPP20218 Certificate II in Security Operations prepares new employees or recognizes and develops existing workers for entry to the security operations sector. Clients will generally have an aptitude towards security operations.
The qualification has core unit of competency that cover common skills for the security unarmed security officer, as well as the specialization of crowd control. The security industry strongly affirms that training and assessment leading to a qualification must be undertaken in a real or very close to real simulated environment and this qualification requires all units of competency to be delivered in this context.
