Certificate II in Security Operations
Nationally Recognised Vocational Education and Training (VET)The Certificate II in Security Operations is designed to meet the minimum requirement to obtain a Western Australian (WA) security licence. This competency is based on the national training package and is designed to open up a career path in the security industry.
Successful completion of this qualification, learners can apply for a security licence issued by WA Police Security Licensing Branch and will be able to perform the role of a licenced Security Officer working as an Unarmed Guard or Crowd Controller.
Certificate II in Security Operations reflects the role of a security officer, responsible for maintaining safety and security by patrolling, protecting or guarding property while unarmed, and screening entry, monitoring behaviour and removing persons from premises.
