The course is designed for candidates that are seeking to gain employment within the Security Industry as a licensed security officer performing 1A Unarmed security worksuch as mobile and static patrols and 1C crowd control. Employment opportunities may include: working at bars, clubs, vehicle patrols, shopping centres, airports, functions, and music and sporting events.

Entry requirements

Domestic Students

  • There are no mandated entry requirements.

All candidates must supply a Unique Student Identifier (USI). Available at www.usi.gov.au.

All candidates must be either an Australian Citizen, permanent resident, NZ citizen, or a humanitarian visa holder

All candidates must provide 100 points of Identification

All candidates must complete the SLED Pre-Enrolment Workshop - (Language, Literacy, and Numeracy Assessment (ACSFLevel 3/4))

All candidates must be at least 18 years of age to apply for a NSW Security Licence.
