Certificate II in Retail Services
Nationally Recognised Vocational Education and Training (VET)This qualification is designed to suit workplace-based trainees who are employed in a retail service role within a retail business. It is a comprehensive course designed to give participants entering the retail industry the necessary skills to perform the job role of a retail assistant.
The qualification provides a pathway to work in many retail industry sectors and is suitable for a diverse range of retail-oriented employers.
This qualification is targeted towards (but not exclusive to) School Based Trainees, who are employed in a retail business part-time, while also continuing their school education. Typical School Based Trainees will work between 7.5 and 20 hours per week as part of their employment arrangements.
