Certificate II in Financial Services
Nationally Recognised Vocational Education and Training (VET)This entry level qualification provides the foundation skills and knowledge to use business knowledge in the financial industry. This certificate course gives students the opportunity to engage in and understand a range of business practices through a range of real-life situations and simulated environments. It will help develop and build a broad range of knowledge and skills such as carrying out a range of activities to complete financial business tasks, identify risks and provide advice and customer support to a team. Students will develop a greater understanding of the Australian financial system and how credit works.
This course will engage students in learning activities which will allow them to develop an understanding of various business skills such as creating routine word processing documents, development of business communication skills, working in a team, organisational skills, creation of budgets and savings plans, and an understanding of consumer debt and credit.
