Certificate II in Core skills for Employment and Training - Numeracy
Nationally Recognised Vocational Education and Training (VET)Mathematics provides students with essential mathematical skills and knowledge in Number and Algebra, Measurement and Geometry, and Statistics and Probability. It develops the numeracy capabilities that all students need in their personal, work and civic life, and provides the fundamentals on which mathematical specialties and professional applications of mathematics are built.

About Ipswich State High School
The Ipswich State High School is one of the largest school-based Registered Training Organisations in Queensland, offering over 30 nationally recognised certificate courses, but was also acknowledged in 2019 as the most successful school RTO in the State by the Minister for Employment and Small Business and Minister for Training and Skills Development, Shannon Fentiman.
Ipswich State High School is the home of the $5 million Ipswich Regional Trade Training Centre, and the $10 million X Block Performing Arts Centre. In 2021 we will be opening a new, state of the art STEM centre, partnering with kitsunei to deliver 21st century learnings in coding and robotics.
Ipswich High has a dedicated Student Wellbeing Faculty that aims to develop a safe, supportive and inclusive school environment through the provision of support services such as Young Families Connect, Peer Mentoring and Success Coach Programs.
