Certificate II in Construction Pathways
Nationally Recognised Vocational Education and Training (VET)For those who enjoy working with tools and building things from scratch, this qualification allows students to discover the basics of building and construction. Trade career outcomes are predominantly achieved through an Australian Apprenticeship and this qualification allows for inclusion of skills suited for entry to occupations, such as joinery and shopfitting as well as carpentry, bricklaying and other occupations in general construction.
There are no specific pre-requisites for this course, however students do require a Construction Induction White Card. Please ask for details. Students may be required to undertake an initial pre-enrolment assessment to determine their suitability for this level of study.
This course is predominantly delivered face-to-face in a workshop, or partly self-paced via correspondence.
This qualification requires work placement to give you real life, on-the-job experience and the opportunity to practice what you learn.
