Certificate II in Automotive Vocational Preparation
Nationally Recognised Vocational Education and Training (VET)Prepare for an auto apprenticeship with the Certificate II in Automotive Vocational Preparation.
Students will become familiar with mechanical and electrical components, and learn to inspect systems used in cars, heavy vehicles, outdoor power equipment, bicycles, marine craft, and motorcycles. Students will also learn important workplace safety processes to prepare for life in a real auto workshop.

Entry requirements
Domestic Students
- There are no mandated entry requirements.
Before being accepted into the course applicants:
- Complete a Basic Key Skills Builder (BKSB)an online test to ensure the required literacy & numeracy levels for the course are met.
- Undertake a Pre-training review interview to ensure the course suits their needs and aspirations, and that they are likely to complete the course successfully.
- Prospective VDSS students are required to apply through their School's VET Coordinator or Careers Advisor.
