Start a creative career in the fashion industry with this introductory course. This qualification will give you the entry-level skills required to gain an assistant role in the fashion industry.

According to the Australian Government's Job Outlook service, the number of people working as fashion, industrial and jewellery designers is expected to grow very strongly and likely to reach over 3,000 job opportunities in the next five years.

In this course you will learn basic skills including how to produce a simple garment, create patterns, sew designs and draw fashion sketches. You will study in a simulated workroom using industrial sewing machines and cutting edge equipment.
