The Bachelor of Social Work is an undergraduate degree that will develop your ability to be reflective, versatile and skilled in a range of practice areas, and able to translate professional values into action.

You will study core units in sociology and social work, and you will add breadth to your degree by taking elective units from Arts and Social Sciences subject areas or the shared pool.

In your final year, you will undertake field education units. You will also have the option to complete an honours thesis in your final year.

Domestic Students

  • Completed Year 12 (ATAR optional) with ATAR 80.00 or equivalent AND
  • IELTS score of 7.00 or TOEFL iBT score of 96.00 or PTE score of 68.00 or its equivalent

  • IELTS score of 7.00 or TOEFL iBT score of 96.00 or PTE score of 68.00 or its equivalent
