Nationally Recognised Higher EducationUpgrade your current Enrolled Nurse qualification with our two-year Enrolled Nurse Entry degree. You’ll graduate ready to register as a Registered Nurse.
At Frankston or Berwick campuses you can complete a La Trobe University Bachelor of Nursing (Enrolled Nurse). This qualification enables an Enrolled Nurse - (EN) with current AHPRA (Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Authority) registration to become a Registered Nurse (RN).
In the Bachelor of Nursing (Enrolled Nurse), you will gain clinical nursing experience, while learning to provide patient-centred care across the life span through face-to-face workshops and clinical sessions.
Alongside the clinical experience, you will study the requirements for the transition to the role of registered nurse, primary health care, health priorities and nursing research. You will also undertake specialised subjects including mental health nursing, recognising and responding to the deteriorating patient and nursing people with chronic illnesses.
