Nationally Recognised Higher EducationHonours is an extra year of study available to high-achieving students that combines aspects of undergraduate study with post-graduate research. An honours degree introduces advanced research training and skills through the completion of a thesis or a creative or practice-based research project.

- There are no mandated entry requirements.
Applicants are expected to have reached the level of at least Grade 7 AMEB Performance (or equivalent) and Music 2; or Grade 6 AMEB Musicianship (or equivalent); or HSC Music Extension.
