Nationally Recognised Higher EducationGraduate sooner with our Bachelor of Laws. You have the option to fast-track your study and complete this degree in 2 years full-time over 6 consecutive semesters. Study online or on-campus at either Ipswich or Toowoomba and engage with expert lecturers and fellow students who are as passionate about law as you are. Prepare yourself to practice as a solicitor or barrister in Queensland, or a legal practitioner elsewhere in Australia. This degree is accredited by the Legal Practitioners Admissions Board as an academic qualification for admission as a lawyer in Queensland.

Pre-requisites
To study this degree we assume you have sound knowledge in:
- English (Units 3 & 4, C)
We assume that your knowledge is equivalent to a grade C or higher in Units 3 and 4 at high school level (typically studied in Year 12).
Tafe (VET) qualification
As a TAFE or VET graduate, you can use your Australian Qualification Framework (AQF) awards of certificate III, certificate IV, diploma or advanced diploma to submit an application to study with UniSQ.
We convert your TAFE or VET qualification and results along with your past school results and work experience (if applicable) into a selection rank. It is this selection rank that determines which degrees you may meet the entry requirements for.
Work and life experience
You don't need to have an OP/ATAR or be straight from high school to study at uni. We can convert you work experience, qualifications or high school studies into a selection rank you can use to apply for your chosen degree.
English language requirements
You are required to satisfy the applicable English language requirements and this degree requires a minimum of IELTS 6.5 or equivalent.
