Under the guidance of our lecturers you will study legal research methods, complete two major research projects in areas of law you are passionate about and make a difference to society in a meaningful way. Collectively, our lecturers have a wealth of experience in a diverse range of backgrounds, including criminal law, human rights, international and comparative law, ethics, family and succession law, environmental and natural resources law, commercial and taxation law, and public law and policy.

Entry requirements
Domestic Students
- There are no mandated entry requirements.
Completion of the Bachelor of Laws degree from the University of Southern Queensland, or other recognised bachelor's degree in law from a recognised university with a pass at either:
- a credit level (grade point average of 5.0/7, that is 71.4 per cent) in the entire program and permission of the relevant Program Coordinator
- a grade point average of 5.2/7 (75 per cent) in the third level of the Bachelor of Laws program, including an 'A' or better level pass in at least one course.
English language requirements
You are required to satisfy the applicable English language requirements and this degree requires a minimum of IELTS 6.5 or equivalent. If you do not meet the English language requirements you may apply to study a University-approved English language program.
