You'll learn about human services in Australia and develop the knowledge and skills needed to build a better future for those within your community and beyond. You'll develop a deep understanding of the principles of social justice, empowerment, and social inclusion.
Put your skills into practice with clinical placements, either at our on-campus clinics, or through our partnerships with leading organisations including Queensland Health, Queensland Government, National Youth Mental Health Foundation (headspace), and Lifeline. Learn from practising experts who are addressing key issues like youth mental health, parenting, and family interventions. Our staff maintain strong links with health and community sectors, as well as government and non-government organisations.

Work Placement
Over your second and third years, you'll complete a total of 52 days of field placement in two distinct areas such as child protection, family support, mental health, youth justice, homelessness, domestic violence, and disability.
