The course will deepen your understanding of the fundamental conceptual, methodological and implementation issues that define computer science.

The additional units allow you to study intelligent systems, algorithms and discrete structures or other topics at an advanced level.

You will undertake research methodology training and carry out an independent research project on your selected topic, working closely with a supervisor who will provide you with individual guidance and academic counselling.

Available for full and part-time study at our Clayton campus, an Honours year will stimulate your thinking and open up new opportunities.

Successful completion of a relevant Australian bachelor degree (or equivalent) with an average of at least 70% overall or equivalent qualifications and experience approved by the faculty.
