Bachelor of Biomedical Science (Honours)
Nationally Recognised Higher EducationStudents who achieve a superior level of performance in the Bachelor of Biomedical Science at this university or any other degree approved by the Faculty Board will be able to undertake the Honours program which is of one year's duration when undertaken full-time. The Honours degree program allows students to further develop their skills in Biomedical Science by undertaking a specific research project under the supervision of appropriate staff.

Entry requirements
Domestic Students
- There are no mandated entry requirements.
Eligibility for admission to this program is based on applicants having completed a Bachelor degree in a cognate area with a minimum GPA of 5.0
- across all studies undertaken within the program; or
- across a major in the proposed area of study; or
- across 80 units of 3000 level courses (which must include at least 40 units of 3000 level courses in the major where a major exists); or
- where the applicant has completed less than 80 units at 3000 level, a GPA of 5.0 calculated from at least 60 units of 3000 level courses (which includes at least 40 units of 3000 level courses in the major where a major exists).
In exceptional circumstances, an application which does not meet the above requirements may be considered.
