About the Chinese studies beginners major
Develop a multidisciplinary understanding of the world through one of the world’s great languages. In this major, you'll develop beginner level oral, reading, writing and listening skills in Chinese, while also developing an understanding of Chinese culture and civilisation through the study of literature, history, religion and philosophy.
