Learn to collaborate on creative projects, strengthen your interpersonal and communication skills, graduate with a show-reel of your work, ready to become a creative leader. Graduates of the Bachelor of 3D Art and Animation can establish themselves across a range of creative industries including filmmaking, game design and development, television, online content development, virtual production (VP), virtual reality (VR) and augmented reality (AR), and advertising. This degree has been created in close consultation with the industry. You’ll gain a theoretical grounding in art and animation principles and experience production in deadline-driven commercial environments.

Entry requirements
Domestic Students
- There are no mandated entry requirements.
You must demonstrate that you have achieved one of the following:
- A NSW Higher School Certificate (HSC) or its equivalent or
- A Certificate IV in Tertiary Preparation or its equivalent or
- A completed certificate IV or higher vocational qualification
You must also
- Submit a short essay in which you select a specific scene or shot from a film or piece of media with a strong visual impact, where CGI has been used to enhance the shot. Discuss the visual elements and techniques employed and their relevance to the story. This written task allows us to gauge applicants' passion for visual storytelling. Please limit your response to one or two pages – no more than 500 words.
- Submit a portfolio to demonstrate your creative talent. This must include 8 to 12 pieces of design and artwork showcasing different skillsets.
