Nationally Recognised Vocational Education and Training (VET)This qualification reflects the role of individuals in a variety of information and communications technology (ICT) roles who have significant experience in specialist technical skills, or managerial business and people management skills. Individuals in these roles carry out complex tasks in a specialist field, working independently, leading a team or a strategic direction of a business. They apply their skills across a wide range of industries and business functions, or as a business owner (sole trader/contractor). The skills required for the role may include, but are not restricted to:
• Telecommunications network engineering: managing logistics, organisational specifications, regulations and legislative requirements across network projects

Entry requirements
Domestic Students
- There are no mandated entry requirements.
- Be at least 18 years of age and have completed Australian Year 12 or equivalent of other countries.
- Mature Age students will also be considered without the minimum education requirements providing they have relevant work experience within the chosen area of study and a demonstrated capacity to meet the course requirements. A minimum of 5 years experience would normally be expected; however, each case will be reviewed individually with relevant work experience evidence in the form of an employment reference letter on company letterhead, work samples and curriculum vitae submitted will be considered. Such learner will be accessed for possible RPL opportunities, and their course duration and volume of learning will be adjusted accordingly if any RPL is granted.
