Advanced Diploma of Civil Construction Design

Therefore, studying in this qualification provides you with multiple employment opportunities to be successful in the civil construction field. With the successful completion of the qualification, you will have developed skills and knowledge to work as a senior civil works designer or a para-professional designer, who supports professional engineers.
The tasks that you will perform in these roles are broad, specialised, complex, and technical and include strategic areas and initiating activities. You will also be able and responsible for the design of complex projects to ensure the implementation of the client’s site requirements and are required to demonstrate the self-directed application of theoretical and technical knowledge and initiate solutions to technical problems or management requirements.
