Become a qualified steelfixer with the CPC31120 Certificate III in Steelfixing. This nationally recognised qualification will teach you how to reinforce concrete with mesh and steel bars on buildings and large structures. The course begins with construction industry basics including site safety and communication, reading plans and specifications, planning your work day, using steelfixing tools and equipment. You’ll then gain technical skills for steelfixing work: levelling procedures, cutting and bending materials using oxy-LPG, fixing reinforcement materials, carrying out concreting work, different welding techniques, working with scaffolding, and much more.
