Want to become a qualified midwife, supporting the wellbeing of pregnant women and babies? The Bachelor of Midwifery is the program you need to practice midwifery in Australia and obtain registration with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia (NMBA). You’ll also require 880 hours of clinical placement.

The degree covers: midwifery practice, anatomy and physiology during pregnancy and childbirth, breastfeeding, pharmacology and microbiology, perinatal mental health, complex pregnancies, caring for newborns, public health strategies, indigenous women and babies, midwifery leadership, research projects, and more.
