A Sheep Shearing Trainer supervises a team of shearers and ensures their skills meet industry standards. You might train new shearers or assist experienced members of your crew to develop new techniques. Sheep Shearing Trainers can train others in handling animals and using machine shears, hand held blades and other shearing equipment. You might teach new shearers about shearing shed operations and animal welfare issues.

A Sheep Shearing Trainer needs excellent leadership skills and should be able to communicate with everyone in their team.
