Certificate II in Wool Handling

Nationally Recognised Vocational Education and Training (VET)

When you complete this course you will be ready for a career in the wool industry as a wool handler or an agriculture assistant. You will have the skills and knowledge to handle wool and assisting in a shearing shed. You will learn skills in penning sheep, performing board duties, assisting with pressing wool and preparing sheep for shearing and crutching. You will also learn about first aid, effective communication, responding to emergencies and safety in the workplace.
